Dark wooden case with a central auspicious motif in repoussé brass, with repoussé brass mounts protecting the sides and edges, and a movable locking latch. Wooden lid with polychrome painting depicting a mythological scene of a female enlightened figure standing on a saddle cloth adorned with precious jewels before an altar wall, within a landscape with monasteries, symbolic animals, ritual objects, horses, and gazelles. Bolt closure, with brass corner and edge mounts. An ethnographic and medical-historical rarity.
